Head Pastry Chef - Filipino Cuisine (English Speaking) in Riyadh
We are seeking a skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef who specializes in Filipino cuisine to lead our pastry team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in creating and executing traditional and modern Filipino desserts, as well as be fluent in English.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design new dessert menus that showcase the flavors of traditional and modern Filipino cuisine
- Train, manage, and mentor pastry team members to ensure high quality and consistent dessert production
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control for the pastry department
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene practices in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef, with a focus on Filipino cuisine
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Extensive knowledge of Filipino ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, manage, and motivate a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
Salary:
1500$ monthly salary plus accommodation provided by the company.
