Metal Fabricator and Welder

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator and Welder to join our team in Ashdod. As a Metal Fabricator and Welder, you will be responsible for creating metal structures, components, and equipment by cutting, bending, and welding various types of metal. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in metalworking and welding, as well as strong attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and written instructions to determine project specifications
- Cut, shape, and bend metal pieces using specialized tools such as saws, drills, shears, and presses
- Assemble metal parts by welding or using other techniques such as bolting or riveting
- Inspect completed projects for quality assurance
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
- Adhere to safety guidelines while working with hot metals and hazardous materials
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in metalworking is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in metal fabrication/welding
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Ability to operate specialized tools safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina as this job may require standing for long periods of time
Location: Ashdod (own transportation required)
Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
