Cashier (Indian) in Nizwa, Oman
We are hiring a Cashier to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions and ensuring accuracy in cash handling. You will also be required to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
- Count and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift
- Maintain accurate records of transactions
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary
- Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately
- Good communication skills to interact with customers effectively
- Basic computer knowledge to process transactions using POS systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be an Indian national residing in Nizwa or willing to relocate
Salary: 1300$ per month
