Preservation Architect - Sheduva, Lithuania
We are in search of a talented and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Sheduva, Lithuania. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring that they maintain their original character and design while also meeting modern safety and building codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to identify necessary preservation work
- Developing preservation plans and strategies to maintain the original design and materials of the building
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure preservation work is carried out effectively
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for preservation projects
- Monitoring the progress of preservation projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Conducting research on historical architecture, materials, techniques, and methods to inform preservation projects
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and preferences for preservation work
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Preservation Architect
- Extensive knowledge of historical architecture, materials, techniques, and methods
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Experience working on preservation projects in Lithuania or Eastern Europe
- Proficiency in Lithuanian language
