Indian Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and talented Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Jerusalem. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the preparation of high-quality, authentic Indian dishes. You must have a passion for cooking and be knowledgeable about traditional Indian spices, ingredients, and techniques. This position is open to Indian nationals with a biometric passport and no English language requirements. Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen is preferred but not required. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and a love for Indian cuisine, we want to hear from you!
As an Indian Executive Chef, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing new menu items that reflect authentic Indian flavors
- Creating recipes and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation
- Overseeing food preparation to maintain high quality standards
- Managing inventory and controlling food costs
- Training and supervising kitchen staff to uphold hygiene and safety standards
- Collaborating with management to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A biometric passport from India (or eligibility to obtain one)
- A deep understanding of traditional Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- A creative mindset with a passion for constantly improving menu offerings
