Information Security Analyst


We are hiring an Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Umm-Salal, Qatar. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. You will work closely with our IT department to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, develop effective security strategies, and implement security measures to safeguard our systems and data.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits of systems, networks, and applications to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity or unauthorized access
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Investigate security breaches and provide recommendations for remediation
- Perform risk assessments and make recommendations for improving the overall security posture of the company
- Stay up-to-date with current threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices in information security
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into system designs and infrastructure
- Provide training to employees on information security best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security or a related field
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption technologies, etc.
- Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Familiarity with compliance regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a full-time position with visa sponsorship available for suitable candidates.
