Network and Systems Administrator


We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Sheduva. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and securing our company's network and computer systems. Your main duties will include troubleshooting network issues, configuring hardware and software, and ensuring network security protocols are in place.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software
- Implement security measures to protect the company's network from cyber threats
- Perform regular backups of all data to ensure data recovery in the event of system failures
- Upgrade network equipment and software as needed
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues or projects
- Train employees on how to use new hardware or software systems
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements for the company's IT infrastructure

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), LAN/WAN networks, and virtual private networks (VPN)
- Experience with network security protocols such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS) or intrusion prevention systems (IPS)
- Proficient in configuring routers, switches, access points, firewalls, servers, etc.
- Familiarity with backup solutions such as Veeam Backup & Replication or Acronis Backup & Recovery is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This job is based in Sheduva, with preference given to candidates from India or the Philippines. However, all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
