Barista vacancy in Al Ahmadi Kuwait

Barista (African/Filipino preferred) - Al Ahmadi, Kuwait

We are hiring a skilled Barista to join our team at a busy coffee shop in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for coffee. Previous experience as a barista is preferred but not required. This is an excellent opportunity for an African or Filipino Barista looking to work in Kuwait with provided accommodation. The salary for this position is $1000 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders and prepare beverages according to customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the coffee shop
- Ensure high-quality drinks are served to customers
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and blenders
- Restock supplies and maintain inventory of ingredients
- Handle cash transactions accurately

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience as a barista is preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Knowledge of different types of coffee drinks and their preparation methods is an advantage
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Arabic knowledge is an advantage)
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
