Job Title: Preservation Architect - Nepal

We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Las Vegas. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in Nepal. This role requires extensive knowledge of traditional building materials and techniques, as well as experience working with local communities and government agencies to ensure the preservation of cultural heritage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, historic preservation, and project management.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historic structures and determining necessary restoration or preservation work
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to create restoration plans
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities
- Overseeing construction work to ensure adherence to preservation standards
- Consulting with local communities and stakeholders to ensure cultural sensitivity in preservation efforts
- Conducting research on traditional building materials and techniques used in Nepal
- Developing methods for preserving historical structures while maintaining structural integrity
- Maintaining accurate records of all restoration work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
- Familiarity with traditional building materials and techniques used in Nepal is preferred
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Knowledge of local laws, regulations, and processes related to historic preservation in Nepal
- Ability to conduct field surveys and assessments of historical structures

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Las Vegas (must be willing to travel frequently within Nepal)

Nationality: Nepali (preferred)
