Experienced Tiler in Los Angeles


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tiler to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tile in residential and commercial properties. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per week.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and removing old tiles or debris
- Install tiles using various techniques such as grouting, gluing, or nailing
- Repair damaged or broken tiles as needed
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing of tiles for a professional finish
- Use hand and power tools to complete tasks effectively and efficiently
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tiler
- Excellent knowledge of different types of tile materials, patterns, and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or specifications
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise tile cutting and placement
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift heavy materials for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with biometric passport projects
- Familiarity with Indian culture/language
- Currently enrolled in a trade school program related to construction or tile setting
