DevOps Developer


As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our software development processes. This includes designing, implementing, and managing automated deployment pipelines, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting our production systems. Your role will also involve working closely with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure continuous delivery of high-quality code. We are seeking a highly skilled individual with experience in cloud computing, scripting languages, and configuration management tools. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (Open to all nationalities)

Salary: 1200 USD/month (negotiable based on experience)

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Proficient in cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Proven track record of implementing automated deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to handle incidents in production systems
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and principles
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage automated deployment pipelines for applications in different environments (development, testing, production)
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise in the production environment
- Work closely with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure continuous delivery of high-quality code
- Develop scripts to automate tasks related to infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and system monitoring
- Manage cloud resources efficiently by implementing cost-saving measures where possible
- Implement security best practices in all aspects of the infrastructure setup
- Continuously improve processes through automation and optimization
- Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value to our customers
