Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As an Indian national with excellent English proficiency, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your role will also involve troubleshooting database issues, implementing security measures, and ensuring data integrity.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing databases based on business needs
- Ensuring data security and integrity through regular backups and disaster recovery plans
- Monitoring database performance and optimizing for efficiency
- Troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions
- Collaborating with developers to design efficient database structures
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and upgrades
- Training users on database functionality and providing technical support when needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong understanding of database design principles, SQL, and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience with database performance monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds DPA)
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills in English

Salary: 1700$ per month
Location: Ashdod, Israel
