Typesetter (Contract Position)
Sheduva, Lithuania
We are in need of a skilled Typesetter to join our team on a contract basis in Sheduva, Lithuania. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images for various print and digital materials such as books, magazines, brochures, and websites. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under strict deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize typesetting software to arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Proofread text for errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Ensure consistency in font styles, sizes, and formatting throughout the document
- Collaborate with designers and editors to determine the best layout for each project
- Make necessary adjustments to layout based on feedback from team members
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines
- Use Adobe Creative Suite or other design software as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Knowledge of typography principles and design layout techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to catch errors quickly
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
This contract position is suitable for men who are looking for English speaking jobs with visa sponsorship. Preference will be given to candidates from India or Pakistan. The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
