Executive Chef at a High-End Restaurant in Muharraq, Bahrain


We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at a high-end restaurant in Muharraq, Bahrain. As the head of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for creating and executing menu items that showcase the best of local and international cuisine. Your creativity, leadership skills, and passion for food will play a vital role in maintaining our restaurant's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement seasonal menus that incorporate fresh, local ingredients and reflect current food trends
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high quality standards are met consistently
- Oversee inventory and ordering of supplies to maintain cost efficiency
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and concepts for special events and promotions
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing food costs, sales figures, and other key metrics
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques through attending workshops or conferences

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and experience implementing them in a kitchen setting
- Creative mindset with the ability to come up with unique dishes that will appeal to our clientele

Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or higher position
- Proficient in English (both written and verbal)
- International experience is an asset

Salary: $1700/month (tax-free) + benefits package
Location: Muharraq, Bahrain
