Preservation Architect
A reputable architecture firm in Izhevsk is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, ensuring that they are maintained for generations to come.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine their condition and any necessary repairs or restoration work.
- Develop preservation plans and strategies in collaboration with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects.
- Oversee the implementation of preservation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Work closely with contractors, craftsmen, and other professionals to ensure high-quality preservation work is carried out.
- Monitor the progress of preservation projects and make adjustments as needed.
- Conduct research on historical building materials and techniques to inform preservation work.
- Provide expert advice on the maintenance and conservation of historic structures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
- Proven experience as a Preservation Architect, preferably with experience working on historical buildings.
- Strong knowledge of architectural history, building conservation principles, and techniques.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other design software.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings and specifications.
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month along with benefits such as health insurance. This position is open to both Indian nationals living in Izhevsk or willing to relocate, as well as Africans who have a valid work permit. We also welcome part-time candidates who can commit at least 20 hours per week.
