Automotive Mechanic

We are hiring an experienced and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Bungoma. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance tasks such as changing oil and filters, inspecting engines and other components for wear and tear, and identifying any potential issues. You will also be responsible for using specialized tools and equipment to diagnose complex problems and make necessary repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of vehicle systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a contract job with a salary of $1600 per month.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience as an automotive mechanic
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with good time-management skills

Preferred:
- Vocational or technical training in automotive mechanics
- Biometric passport (Filipino preferred)
- Proficient in English (Filipino preferred)
- Experience working with students or training apprentices
