Hotel Sales Manager - Nairobi, Kenya (Indian Nationals Preferred)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy for our hotel. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve hotel revenue goals
- Manage existing client relationships and build new ones to drive business
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competition
- Create compelling presentations and proposals for potential clients
- Negotiate contracts and rates with clients to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations for events and group bookings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales, preferably in a managerial role
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in Hindi or other Indian languages is an advantage)
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of local market trends and competitors is preferred
Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
