Gardener - Nairobi, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for the gardens and outdoor spaces of our clients' properties.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general gardening duties such as mowing, weeding, planting, and pruning
- Maintain the health and appearance of plants, trees, and shrubs
- Ensure that gardens are free from pests and diseases
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems
- Keep outdoor spaces clean and tidy
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute garden designs
- Communicate with clients to understand their gardening needs and preferences
- Adhere to safety procedures while working outdoors

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Gardener or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs commonly found in Nairobi
- Ability to operate gardening equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and hedge clippers
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects if needed
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients effectively
- Attention to detail to maintain the appearance of outdoor spaces
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Accommodation:
This position does not include accommodation. Applicants must have their own housing arrangements.

Visa and Ticket:
A free visa will be provided for successful applicants. However, candidates must arrange their own transportation to Nairobi.

English Language Requirement:
This position requires fluency in English. All communication with clients will be conducted in English.
