Slinger for Construction Site in Malindi, Kenya


We are hiring a skilled Slinger to join our construction team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Slinger, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials around the construction site using a crane or other heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use cranes or other heavy machinery to move materials around the construction site
- Ensure all materials are securely attached and properly balanced before lifting
- Communicate with crane operators and other team members to coordinate material movements
- Perform safety checks on equipment before use and report any issues to the supervisor
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers
- Keep track of inventory and report any shortages or damages to the supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Slinger or similar role in the construction industry
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Ability to read blueprints and understand load charts
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

This is a contract position with a salary of $900 per month. We welcome applications from Indian nationals who have relevant experience in slinging on construction sites. The ability to speak English is preferred but not required.
