Pastry Chef
Our restaurant in Beer-Sheva is seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts and baked goods for our menu, as well as managing the pastry kitchen. We are looking for someone with a passion for baking and experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare desserts, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper ordering and stock levels
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Train and supervise pastry assistants in their daily tasks
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu items or special orders
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness in the pastry kitchen
- Adhere to all safety and health standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or bakery
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and equipment
- Creative mindset with the ability to come up with new and unique dessert ideas
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage inventory effectively
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels
Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
City: Beer-Sheva, Israel (open to non-natives)
