Part-Time Cashier
Location: Manama, Bahrain
Our company is seeking a part-time Cashier to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. This position offers a competitive salary of 1000$ and includes accommodation, free visa, and ticket.
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions with customers and ensuring accuracy in all transactions. You will also be responsible for processing refunds and exchanges, maintaining the cleanliness of the checkout area, and providing excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will have previous cashier experience and strong numerical skills. They should also possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Scan items and ensure pricing accuracy
- Process cash transactions using POS system
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate to management when necessary
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products or store policies
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier experience preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service-oriented attitude
- Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
