Carpenter for a Construction Company in Mombasa, Kenya


We are in search of an experienced Carpenter to join our construction company in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints and building plans to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Cut and shape materials according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Inspect and repair damaged structures and fixtures
- Follow safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and building plans
- Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, etc.
- Knowledge of different carpentry techniques and methods
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
