Indian Chef

We are looking for a talented and experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Herzliya. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes, as well as developing new menu items. You must have a passion for Indian cuisine and be able to create high-quality dishes with attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to traditional recipes
- Develop new menu items and specials that showcase your creativity and expertise
- Ensure all dishes are cooked and presented according to established standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety guidelines
- Train and supervise other kitchen staff members, including line cooks and prep cooks
- Order ingredients and supplies as needed, while maintaining budgetary constraints
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or wastage
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to create seasonal menus or promotions

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Indian Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques and cuisine
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong leadership skills with experience in training and supervising kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and sanitation practices
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Hebrew is a plus)
- Must be authorized to work in Herzliya without sponsorship

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
