Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our hotel in Eldoret. You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement sales strategies, identify potential clients, and maintain relationships with existing clients. Your main goal will be to increase occupancy and revenue through various sales channels.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new business and maintain existing client relationships
- Identify potential clients through research, networking, and market analysis
- Conduct site visits, presentations, and negotiate contracts with potential clients
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and packages to increase sales
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Manage the sales budget, forecast future revenue, and track progress towards targets
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the hotel
- Train and mentor junior sales staff members
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hotel sales or a similar role in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of sales techniques and market trends in the hospitality industry
- Ability to build relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Strong analytical skills to track progress towards targets and adjust strategies accordingly
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus
