Architectural Technologist
Our architectural firm in Atlanta is seeking a skilled and experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, planning, and construction of various architectural projects. Your main duties will include creating detailed drawings and models, conducting site visits and surveys, liaising with clients and contractors, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Architecture or a related field, strong technical skills, and proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Experience working on commercial projects is preferred. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design process by creating detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD or Revit
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for design plans
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project progress
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project completion within budget and timeline
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and health & safety standards
- Utilize your technical knowledge to solve any design or construction issues that may arise
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and relevant laws/regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Architectural Technologist or similar role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other relevant software
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes/regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working on commercial projects is preferred
- Familiarity with sustainability principles and practices is a plus
- Willingness to travel for site visits or project meetings
