Personal Trainer - Health and Fitness Coach

As a Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for providing individualized fitness programs and instruction to clients to help them achieve their health and fitness goals. You will work closely with clients to assess their current fitness level, create customized workout plans, and provide support and motivation throughout their fitness journey. This position requires a strong knowledge of exercise techniques, nutrition, and injury prevention. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others reach their fitness goals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to tailor workouts for individuals of all fitness levels.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial consultations with clients to assess their health history, fitness level, and goals
- Design personalized workout plans based on client's needs and goals
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide guidance on nutrition
- Monitor progress of clients and adjust workout plans as needed
- Provide motivation and support to clients throughout their fitness journey
- Ensure safety by educating clients on proper form and injury prevention techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of the gym equipment
- Stay up-to-date on current fitness trends and research in the industry

Requirements:
- Certification in personal training or related field (ACE, NASM, ACSM)
- Previous experience in personal training or group exercise instruction preferred but not required
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, nutrition, and exercise science
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate others
- Ability to tailor workouts for individuals of all ages and fitness levels
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of injury prevention techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Salary: $1200 per month

Location: Akron, OH
