Junior Accountant


We are hiring a Junior Accountant to join our team in Wiltz. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day financial activities, including but not limited to maintaining financial records, conducting audits, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Record day-to-day financial transactions
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare tax returns and assist with tax planning
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or currently pursuing)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Location:
This is a full-time position based in Wiltz, Luxembourg. The candidate must be able to legally work in Luxembourg without sponsorship.
