Interpreter - English to French


We are hiring a skilled English to French Interpreter to join our team in Clairvaux. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between English and French speakers in various settings such as meetings, conferences, and appointments.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken communication from English to French and vice versa accurately and fluently
- Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality at all times
- Provide cultural and linguistic context for communication when necessary
- Clarify any misunderstandings or mistranslations during the conversation
- Take notes or provide written translations as needed
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in terminology during consecutive interpretation
- Adapt to different accents, dialects, and speaking styles of the speakers

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an interpreter or similar role
- Fluent in both English and French with excellent verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of French culture, traditions, and customs
- Proficient in MS Office or translation software is a plus
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to concentrate for long periods of time
- Strong memory retention skills to recall information accurately
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in translation/interpretation or related field preferred
- Certification from a recognized interpreter training program is a plus
Salary: 1500$ per month.
Location: Clairvaux.
