Dishwasher for Busy Restaurant in Mombasa, Egypt



Our bustling restaurant in Mombasa is seeking a hardworking and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dishwashing area. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to gain experience in the restaurant industry and has a passion for cleanliness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and other kitchen items by hand or using commercial dishwasher
- Sort and stack clean dishes for efficient use by kitchen staff
- Clean and maintain dishwashing area including sinks, floors, and equipment
- Empty trash bins regularly throughout shift
- Assist with basic food prep as needed
- Follow proper sanitation procedures at all times to ensure health and safety standards are met
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of dishes during busy periods
- Help with restocking supplies as needed

Requirements:
- Must be an Egyptian national or have a valid work permit for Egypt
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- No previous experience required
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must have a strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
