A reputable manufacturing company in Nakuru, Kenya is seeking a skilled Turner to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual with experience in the field of turning to showcase their skills and contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain manual and CNC turning machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Select appropriate tools and materials for each job
- Set up and adjust machines according to specifications
- Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and efficiency
- Complete production reports and maintain accurate records
- Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure their proper functioning
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of turning techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical degree or certification in turning preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Turner in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with manual and CNC turning machines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month, based on experience and qualifications.

Location:
This position is located in Nakuru, Kenya. Relocation assistance is not available.
