Pastry Chef
A prestigious hotel in Bansko, Bulgaria is seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries. They will also have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This position is open to all nationalities, but we prefer candidates with Indian cuisine experience.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute dessert menus for various hotel outlets
- Prepare high-quality desserts and pastries according to established recipes
- Manage inventory of pastry supplies and ingredients
- Train and supervise junior pastry staff
- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume kitchen
- Proven ability to create unique and visually appealing desserts
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and flavors preferred
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Good communication skills in English (other language skills are a plus)
