Senior Accountant - Malindi

Our accounting firm in Malindi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our clients' businesses. This includes preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets and expenses, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Analyze budgets and expenses to identify areas for cost reduction or improvement
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations by keeping up-to-date with changes and implementing necessary adjustments
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and payments
- Conduct regular audits to identify any discrepancies or errors in financial records
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash management reports for clients
- Provide financial advice to clients regarding investments, budgeting, and tax planning strategies
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations
- Experience working with various accounting software programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
