IT Manager - Wiltz, Luxembourg

As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's information technology infrastructure in Wiltz, Luxembourg. You will work closely with our team to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of all hardware and software systems. This is a full-time position that requires prior experience in IT management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all hardware and software systems, including servers, network devices, and computer equipment
- Oversee the installation and deployment of new technology systems
- Ensure the security and integrity of data by implementing proper backup and disaster recovery plans
- Train and support employees on using company technology systems effectively
- Evaluate current technology processes and make necessary improvements to increase efficiency
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Keep up-to-date with new technology trends and make recommendations for potential upgrades or improvements
- Manage IT budget and expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Previous experience in IT management or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, security protocols, and database management
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-tech individuals
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Knowledge of biometric passports preferred
