Executive Chef - Malayalee Cuisine (Utena, Lithuania)


We are in search of a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team and bring the flavors of Malayalee cuisine to our restaurant in Utena, Lithuania. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations and ensuring that our customers are served with authentic and delicious Malayalee dishes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a menu that showcases the unique flavors and dishes of Malayalee cuisine.
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including ordering ingredients, food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food is consistently delivered.
- Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation to meet our restaurant's standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for cost control while maintaining high-quality ingredients.

Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant.
- In-depth knowledge of Malayalee cuisine including traditional cooking techniques, spices, and herbs.
- Ability to lead a team with strong leadership skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
