Executive Chef - Fine Dining

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury fine dining restaurant in Malindi. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, menu planning, and staff management. Your passion for creating exceptional culinary experiences and ability to lead and inspire a team will make you a key player in the success of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and oversee menus that showcase exceptional culinary techniques and creativity
- Manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Ensure food quality and consistency meets high standards at all times
- Train and develop kitchen staff to maintain high levels of performance
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and revenue maximization strategies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Adhere to food safety regulations and standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new dishes or techniques as appropriate

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also maintaining classic favorites
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred
