Seamstress

We are a reputable textile company looking for an experienced Seamstress to join our team in Eldoret. As a Seamstress, you will be responsible for sewing, altering, and repairing garments according to customer specifications and company standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent sewing skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Use sewing machines, hand-held tools, and other equipment to construct garments
- Read and interpret patterns, sketches, and instructions to create garments
- Take accurate measurements of customers and adjust patterns accordingly
- Alter or repair garments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure all finished products meet quality standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or similar role
- Proficient in using sewing machines and other tools
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a textile or garment production company
- Familiarity with different fabrics and their properties
- Knowledge of different stitching techniques

Salary:
Salary for this position is $1400 per month.
