A renowned restaurant in Washington is seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries that will leave our customers wanting more. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for pastry making will be key in ensuring the success of our dessert menu.

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods
- Develop new recipes and constantly improve existing ones
- Ensure high quality and consistency in all pastry items
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients
- Comply with sanitation regulations and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen team to create a cohesive menu
- Stay updated on current pastry trends and techniques

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
- Creative flair with an eye for aesthetics
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Team player with strong communication skills

Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)
