Executive Chef - Malayalee Cuisine (Temporary, Visa Sponsorship Available)


We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in Clairvaux. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of authentic Malayalee cuisine, utilizing your expertise in traditional cooking techniques and knowledge of regional flavors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Malayalee cuisine and at least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel. You must also have experience with menu planning, food cost control, and staff management. Additionally, we prefer candidates who have completed culinary school or have a degree in hospitality management.

This is a temporary position with the potential for full-time employment. We offer competitive salary of 1600$ per week, as well as visa sponsorship for non-local candidates. Accommodation is not provided, so we prefer candidates who are already based in Clairvaux or willing to relocate at their own expense.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain menus featuring authentic Malayalee dishes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Monitor food quality and ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes
- Control food costs by implementing portion control measures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or themed nights featuring Malayalee cuisine

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of Malayalee cuisine, including traditional cooking techniques and regional flavors
- Experience with menu planning, food cost control, and staff management
- Culinary school degree or bachelor's degree in hospitality management preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
