Librarian



We are hiring a Librarian for our library in Plovdiv. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials. You will also assist patrons in finding and accessing information, as well as providing reference services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cataloging and classifying books and other materials
- Maintaining an organized and up-to-date library collection
- Assisting patrons with locating and accessing information
- Providing reference services to patrons
- Managing the circulation of materials, including checking books in and out
- Developing and implementing library policies and procedures
- Organizing events and activities to promote the use of the library
- Training and supervising library assistants

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Knowledge of cataloging systems and classification methods
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Customer service oriented with the ability to assist patrons of all ages and backgrounds
- Proficiency in using computer systems for cataloging, circulation, and reference services

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. However, we welcome candidates from all nationalities who are legally eligible to work in Bulgaria.
