Crane Operator

We are currently hiring a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Nairobi. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes. Your main duties will include rigging and hoisting materials, inspecting equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of cranes according to job requirements
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safe operations
- Rig and hoist materials using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating cranes
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain accurate records of crane usage, maintenance, and inspections
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during crane operations
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid crane operator certification/license
- Excellent understanding of crane functionality and operation techniques
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Physically fit to perform repetitive tasks in an outdoor environment
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well within a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Nairobi but is open to candidates from other cities in Kenya.
