Commercial Architect


We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Architect to join our team in Washington. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients to determine their needs, create detailed plans and blueprints, and ensure that all building codes and regulations are followed.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their commercial building needs and requirements
- Create detailed plans and blueprints for commercial buildings, including floor plans, elevations, and structural drawings
- Work closely with engineers and contractors to ensure that designs are feasible and comply with building codes
- Oversee the construction process to ensure that plans are being followed correctly
- Make necessary changes or adjustments to plans as needed
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with interior designers to create functional and visually appealing spaces
- Ensure that all projects are completed within budget and on schedule

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Architect
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other architectural design software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: This is a contract position based in Washington. Preference will be given to candidates who are able to work on-site.
