Turner for Machinery Maintenance Technician



As a Turner for Machinery Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all machinery in our factory. Your primary role will be to conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise with the machinery, and perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality.

Your main duties will include disassembling and reassembling components, replacing worn or damaged parts, calibrating and testing equipment, and documenting all maintenance activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels of spare parts and materials, as well as assisting with the installation of new machinery when necessary.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and processes, as well as experience working with various hand and power tools. A degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred but not required. It is also important that you have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

This position is based in Dickirch, Kenya and offers a salary of $900 per month. While English proficiency is not required for this role, knowledge of basic technical terms would be an advantage.
