Welder - Contract Position (Nakuru, Kenya)

Our company is currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our team on a contract basis in Nakuru, Kenya. This position requires experience in welding and the ability to work independently without accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Use various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC to join metal parts
- Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications
- Operate welding equipment safely and maintain it as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Welder or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different welding techniques and materials
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent
