Librarian Assistant

City: Muscat, Oman

As a Librarian Assistant, you will assist the Head Librarian in managing all aspects of the library, including circulation, reference services, and collection development. Your responsibilities will include organizing and maintaining library materials, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and creating displays and programs to promote library resources. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service to all library users.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Experience working in a library setting preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in computer systems and library databases
- Knowledge of cataloging systems and classification methods
- Fluency in Arabic preferred

Salary: $1600 per month
