Librarian for Filipinos in Sheduva, Lithuania


We are hiring a Librarian to join our team in Sheduva, Lithuania. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library collections, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and promoting library programs and services. This is an urgent job opportunity for Filipinos with experience in library services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain library collections according to the Dewey Decimal System
- Assist patrons with locating materials and conducting research
- Manage circulation processes such as issuing library cards and checking out materials
- Plan and promote library programs and events to engage the community
- Develop and maintain relationships with local schools and organizations to promote library services
- Create displays and exhibits to showcase new materials or themes within the collection
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions, including circulation statistics and budget expenditures
- Train new staff members or volunteers on library procedures and policies

Requirements:
- Filipino nationality preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a library setting
- Strong knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System and cataloging standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient computer skills including experience with library databases, Microsoft Office, and internet research tools

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is located in Sheduva, Lithuania. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not currently living in Sheduva.

This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. English language proficiency is not required for this position.
