Civil Engineer - Structural Design (Part-time)


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Atlanta. As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, designing, and analyzing civil structures such as buildings, bridges, and roads. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed designs and construction plans for civil structures
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models
- Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure designs meet safety and building codes
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure design plans are feasible and practical
- Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor needed for construction projects
- Monitor construction progress and provide technical support as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design
- Proficient in CAD software
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, building codes, and regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $1300 per month (based on part-time hours)

Location: Atlanta (Preference for Canadian candidates)
