Job Title: Typesetter - Las Vegas, USA


A dynamic publishing company in Las Vegas is seeking a highly skilled Typesetter to join our team. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text, images, and other elements to create visually appealing media such as books, magazines, and brochures.

Responsibilities:
- Use desktop publishing software to set and format text, images, and other design elements according to specific guidelines
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure the layout meets the requirements of the project
- Proofread documents for accuracy in spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Ensure consistency in fonts, styles, and layout throughout the document
- Make necessary adjustments to layout based on feedback from editors or clients
- Prepare final files for print or digital publication

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Knowledge of typography and design principles
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month.
