Construction Manager
We are currently hiring a skilled Construction Manager to join our team in Eldoret. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, from initial planning to completion. Your main duties will include coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and staying within budget and timeline constraints. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the construction industry, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to determine project specifications and timelines
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses for construction projects
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Manage budget and expenses for each project
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during construction process
- Hire and train new staff members as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication abilities in English
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
