Executive Chef

We are a highly regarded restaurant located in the beautiful city of Medina, seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, managing a team of culinary professionals, and creating innovative and delicious dishes.

Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that showcase our restaurant's concept and appeal to our diverse clientele
- Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service
- Create new recipes and update existing ones based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
- Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting for the kitchen department
- Collaborate with other departments such as front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Proven track record of creating innovative menus that appeal to a wide range of customers
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience managing inventory, ordering, and budgeting for a kitchen department
- Excellent communication skills in English

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Medina (Preference given to Canadians or English-speaking candidates)
