Executive Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Medina. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is delivered to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create innovative and delicious menus that appeal to our diverse customer base
- Manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring they follow all food safety and hygiene protocols
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet high quality standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into menu planning
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Creative mindset with a passion for food
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage inventory, budgets, and staff schedules
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Canadian or Kenyan cuisine. This position offers a salary of 1400$ per month with accommodation provided. A free visa and ticket will also be provided for the successful candidate.
